My first lathe was from Sears. It works great for small stuff.

I wanted a bigger lathe to turn bigger stuff. I decided on a Oneway 1640 with an extention. It is a great piece of equipment.

PVC works great for tool holders.

The end extention lets me turn piecec as big as 24" in dia.

As you can see I have made some shavings. The wood is wet hard Maple.

I pull the plastic curtins to keep the shavings out of the rest of the shop. Lathe work does make a mess when rough turning pieces.

This Sears table saw was a gift from my wife. It is a great saw for my projects. I have a great wife.

This is a Grizzly 8" jointer on wheels. I heat the shop with two small heaters. Good insulation keeps it about 60 in winter.

My first project was the work bench. Notice the hanging tool rack with the light.

There are shelves on every wall and platforms hung from the rafters for jigs and clamps. How do the shelves fill up so fast?

The planer is on a roll around stand. The Delta grinder and sharpening jigs are up high so I can see the sharpening angles from the sides.

I cut lots of the wood pieces for the projects I make.

This Grizzly 17" band saw does a great job on rough and finished wood. I have cut many boards from logs with this saw.

At this end of the shop are the small tools. Router table, drum sander, small drill press, small band saw, sanding table, gig saw, fridge, and other stuff.

I am replacing two knuckles that went missing on the right table leg. The Basswood blocks were glued on and I am in the process of carving them to match the other legs. The first photo is work in progress. The next three photos show the compleated carvings before finishing.

These are the blanks that I make the Banks from. They are in different stages of work.
Please call or e-mail me about any piece you like.
